It’s a stupid reason for a good brewery to go under. I hope someone/anyone can get it back on track.

Well I am south of there, it seems like a popular brewery. We have Marin Brewing Company, which could be a competitor, they might like this rather than buy them. All the hipsters clean out Pliny the Elder from Whole Foods each week, that’s from north of here too.

This is the second long-established brewery in Northern California to close recently (with the other being Rubicon Brewing in Sacramento). Looks like there are multiple factors at play with Mendocino, but I’m thinking there’s a distinct possibility that the independent brewer market is becoming oversaturated.
